Not very different from inserting emoticons. When composing your SMS:

1. Open the Options menu displayed at the bottom-left corner.
2. Next select Colour my SMS.
3. Next select This message or All messages depending on your preferences. Select the Text colour field. You will be shown a colour palette.
   
4.  Select your desired colour from the colour palette and see the font colour of your message change accordingly.
