Troubleshooting
- I am using SMS2.0 but don"t see any teasers
- I received an SMS to download SMS2.0. I clicked the link in the SMS but nothing was downloaded.
- I received an SMS with a link to download SMS2.0, but it"s not underlined and I can"t click it.
- I am unable to install SMS2.0, what should I do?
- How do I know if the new SMS2.0 is installed?
- I am unable to send or read messages.
- I can"t go to the website to update my profile. Keeps telling me that my mobile number is wrong.
- I am unable to install SMS2.0.
I am using SMS2.0 but don"t see any teasers.
These are the possible reasons:
- The one-time registration during the installation may have been incomplete.
- After installation, the SMS2.0 system takes around 2-4 hours to prepare your suite of customized content. So if you receive a prompt to register, please complete the registration accordingly. Following that, the first batch of content will be delivered to your mobile phone in approximately 2-4 hours.
I received an SMS to download SMS2.0. I clicked the link in the SMS but nothing was downloaded.
You should click “Yes” when you are shown the prompt “Connection to server needed”. If the download still doesn"t begin, please check if your phone is configured for web access. If you are unsure about configuring your phone for web access, please contact your mobile service provider.
I received an SMS with a link to download SMS2.0, but it"s not underlined and I can"t click it.
You need to turn on the “Automatic Find” option. To do so, go to the Options menu, scroll down and set “Automatic Find” to ON.
Please note that on some phones the “Automatic Find” option may appear differently.
I am unable to install SMS2.0, what should I do?
Check the software installation setting on your mobile phone and ensure that the “Application Manager” is set to ON.
The “Application Manager” is typically accessible through the Tools menu.
How do I know if SMS2.0 is installed?
Create a new message and send it to yourself. You should see a new SMS user interface, with the SMS2.0 icon at the top left-hand corner of the screen.
I am unable to send or read messages.
Please uninstall the application from your phone. Once you have completed this process, your default SMS application will be back in place.
Next, please contact us at support@affle.co.uk with the following information:
- Your phone number
- Phone model
- Are you able to read message from Inbox? (Yes/No)
- Are you able to create a new message? (Yes/No)
- Date and approximate time of installation
- Any other details
I can"t update my profile through the website. It keeps telling me that my mobile number is wrong.
Make sure you prefix the "+" sign and the country code to your mobile number. For example, +6591808421.
I am unable to uninstall SMS2.0
Please restart your phone and perform the uninstallation again. Sometimes a restart is required as the SMS2.0 application may be in use.
